Gaming Center

One of our clients, based in Rockville, MD, is a gaming storefront. The games they play rely heavily on continuous communications with the gaming servers. They have some available bandwidth, but they wanted more information on latency between their different connections, and the ability to identify problems with the connectins and react appropriately.

We are working with them to optimize their internal network and routing infrastructure. We have already set up systems to monitor both bandwidth usage and latency on each connection, with alerts to their technical staff as appropriate. They are able to see not only the mean latency for each of their lines, but also to visualize a distribution of RTT for the rest of the packets, as well as packet loss for each test, and of course bandwidth usage at a one-minute interval.

This information is already helping them troubleshoot packet loss on one of their circuits, and identify problem areas on all providers that they should work around.

website/network instability

A client had a network problem which affected one of their largest customers. This had been going on for over a week, and their in-house team had been working on the problem, but their lead tech was scheduled to leave town and the problem was still not solved.

We were able to help this client trouble-shoot and repair their problem the same day, and in time for a meeting with their customer the following day.
