We have over 10 years experience in the Internet industry, working with small and large companies. Our engineers have experience maintaining uptime for some of the worlds leading ISPs. We are experienced with wired and wireless networks, from storage capable architectures to wide area and satellite solutions.
Our proven record includes zero downtime through 9/11, the NorthEast blackout, and hurricane Isabelle; setting up and maintaining web design and hosting networks using Open Source software and LAMP or other Unix architectures; system and network monitoring to improve uptime and show trends, including bandwidth and latency; as well as security services, network availability monitoring, and more.
One Network philosophy
Our philosophy: one Network. Things do not exist in a vacuum. Each piece of a network has to work well together. Although each piece by itself may have many benefits, sometimes the best individual piece is not the best fit. Our philosophy is to design One Network.
We look at the network and services as a complex but single unit. We strive to design One Network that is made up of the best-suited network elements and component pieces, rather than design each piece and try to glue it together to a network. When working with an existing architecture, we look for what fits best in the tautology of the entire network, rather than what the best individual component is.
